美國(guó)留學(xué)除了過(guò)考試關(guān),就是要過(guò)面試關(guān)。面試之前要做好知識(shí)的準(zhǔn)備,禮儀的準(zhǔn)備以及問(wèn)題的準(zhǔn)備。這個(gè)問(wèn)題的準(zhǔn)備就是事前了解面試官會(huì)問(wèn)哪些問(wèn)題。事先了解面試官可能問(wèn)及的問(wèn)題,可以做到心里有數(shù),提前做一個(gè)相關(guān)的準(zhǔn)備,雖然可能不是原題,但是萬(wàn)變不離其宗,轉(zhuǎn)來(lái)轉(zhuǎn)去基本還是那些問(wèn)題。
一, 面試前中后的注意事項(xiàng)
面試前
1.提前準(zhǔn)備好簡(jiǎn)歷和申請(qǐng)文書(shū)并熟悉內(nèi)容
2.突出優(yōu)點(diǎn), 讓學(xué)校覺(jué)得錄取了你會(huì)給學(xué)校增加色彩
3.多方位了解學(xué)校,向?qū)W校留下你對(duì)學(xué)校很感興趣的印象
4.準(zhǔn)備好問(wèn)面試官的問(wèn)題
面試中
1.一定要準(zhǔn)時(shí)
2.準(zhǔn)備好紙和筆,以備不時(shí)之需
3.說(shuō)話語(yǔ)速不要過(guò)快,表情自然
4.對(duì)沒(méi)聽(tīng)懂的問(wèn)題可以讓老師重復(fù)一遍,切忌答非所問(wèn)
5.靈活回答問(wèn)題,不要慌亂
6.如果視頻面試效果不好,可以改為電話面試,不要慌亂
面試后
1.結(jié)束時(shí)當(dāng)面感謝,It’s my pleasure to talk to you today. 或者Thank you for your time and attention for the interview. 還可客氣的說(shuō)Have a nice day
2.歸納總結(jié)自己面試時(shí)的不足之處,及時(shí)發(fā)郵件和學(xué)校解釋下原因,尤其是由于網(wǎng)絡(luò)信號(hào)不好,一定要及時(shí)和學(xué)校發(fā)郵件溝通。
3.進(jìn)一步表達(dá)下,十分想去貴校。給校方面試官發(fā)一封感謝的郵件,以示禮節(jié)性的感謝以加深自己在他心目中的印象
二、面試常見(jiàn)問(wèn)題解析
1.個(gè)人基本信息類
Couldyou introduce yourself to me?
解析:What is your name? Do you have an English name? What is your Englishname? How to spell? Why did you choose your English name? How old are you?Where are you from? Where is your hometown? What is the favorite thing aboutyour hometown? How would you describe your hometown? (可能會(huì)問(wèn)到英文名字的由來(lái),含義)
2.就讀學(xué)校信息類
Howwould you describe your school?
解析:How many students does your school have? Can you tell me alittle about your school? Which subject do you like best? Or what is your mostfavorite/least favorite subject/course/class at school? Why do you like it?Which is the least favorite subject? Which class is difficult for you?
(學(xué)校相關(guān)信息,言之成理即可)
3.興趣愛(ài)好類
Whatare your hobbies or interests?
解析:先總體的列舉自己的興趣愛(ài)好,然后可以挑選一個(gè)或幾個(gè)來(lái)詳細(xì)講述, 例如 什么時(shí)候開(kāi)始學(xué)習(xí), 學(xué)了多久, 一周會(huì)花費(fèi)在這上面多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間, 有無(wú)參加過(guò)此類比賽,有無(wú)獲得過(guò)此類獎(jiǎng)狀等
4.未來(lái)計(jì)劃類
Post-graduateplans
解析:這個(gè)問(wèn)題對(duì)于高中孩子很難回答,大部分孩子可能都還不知道自己的本科計(jì)劃是什么。如果自己有明確的未來(lái)專業(yè)目標(biāo)可以如實(shí)回答。如果沒(méi)有,可以巧妙的回答:“I’m not sure at present. But I will make a specific plan during myundergraduate study.”
Whatdo you want to study in college?
解析:如果有明確專業(yè)目標(biāo)可以如實(shí)回答,如果沒(méi)有可以委婉的回答。比如: “I’m not sure at present. Butmy favorite subject is math, thus I think I may choose math as major incollege. I will ask my advisor for advice when I’m in Grade 11 and Grade 12.”
5.個(gè)人反思類
Whatdo you consider to be one of your personal strengths?
解析:可以從個(gè)人的興趣愛(ài)好來(lái)說(shuō):例如喜歡彈古箏,獲得過(guò)什么獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。。。。
亦可以從個(gè)人品質(zhì)方面來(lái)說(shuō):例如樂(lè)于助人,經(jīng)常幫助同學(xué),到xx社區(qū)作志愿者等
也可以從個(gè)人能力方面來(lái)講:例如有很強(qiáng)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力,在學(xué)校是班長(zhǎng),組織力xx等活動(dòng)
Whatdo you consider to be one of your weaknesses?
解析:對(duì)于自己的缺點(diǎn),可以直說(shuō):如覺(jué)得自己不夠成熟,不夠仔細(xì)認(rèn)真等等。不管是什么最重要的是要告訴面試?yán)蠋熌汶m然有這些不足但你一直在積極的改進(jìn)等等。
